Our Story
The LIFE COULD BE BETTER T-shirt line is about awareness…and it delivers a positive and motivating message. We are very proud of our shirts' powerful words and simple designs, all of which serve to remind us that if we STRIVE and don't give up hope for a better world, LIFE COULD BE BETTER!
There's nothing like a good T-shirt. Over the years we tend to accumulate many of them. Whether it's the color, the message or the memory, we wear them down to bare threads…we just can't seem to let them go. T-shirt wearers like you and me are walking billboards. Quite often, I have thought to myself, WOW, what a great way to get a message out!
This T-shirt project has taken over two years to come to fruition. During this time, I've been quite fortunate to be associated with an excellent and professional design team, and as we developed these shirts together, we shared our vision for a BETTER WORLD. The result of our work produced a T-shirt line that not only looks good, but you can also count on a huge emotional charge when wearing it.
Our T-shirt colors are inspired by nature. The conservation and recycling methods used in the dye process has minimal impact on our environment. Combine this with a screening process that maintains the integrity of our artwork and colors, and you will find that a LIFE COULD BE BETTER T-shirt will provide you with years of good wear and tear. Simply put, it's a great way to enhance your T-shirt collection!
The Nest Egg design team invites you to join us in becoming more aware of how we live on this earth, and together we can take little steps to make a difference. With confidence, we believe that a small effort by many can lead to amazing worldwide results, not just during our lifetime, but also, for many generations to come.

About Kate
Nest Egg Design owner, Kate Hudson, resides with her husband, Craig, in Newburyport Massachusetts. The couple has four grown children. Kate grew up in a self-employed family with four sisters and ten brothers. In 1981 she began working at a local gym, which she later purchased in 1987. Kate’s present gym location has resided in the same community for over 26 years, it now consist of 25,000 square feet and employs 38 people.
Kate feels that in the gym, while it's very important to help people get beyond their daily physical challenges, it's equally important to bring them an awareness of how world events affect their everyday lives. Kate will tell you that helping her members feel good and look good makes her job the best job in the world! While doing her job, she enjoys the opportunity to share stories and information with a fantastically diverse population. Occasionally, tears will flow, but somehow Kate finds a way to seek out the good and send people on their way with a positive message.
Having a need to keep these life-enhancing messages alive…both inside and outside the gym…has been the driving force behind the LIFE COULD BE BETTER T-shirt line. The T-shirt, being the most common apparel in the gym, seemed to be the obvious choice for this endeavor.
This adventure has been an extremely rewarding experience for Kate, and she truly believes that, "all it takes is little steps to make a world of difference," and that if we all STRIVE to take those little steps, LIFE COULD BE BETTER!
