Protect

Children are our most precious resource, and it's our job to protect them, and not let them down!

• Know where your children are at all times
• Never leave your children unattended or unsupervised for any length of time
• Be involved in your children's activities
• Talk, listen and pay attention to your children; take notice of changes in your children's behavior
• Educate your children about potentially dangerous situations
• Teach your children that it's ok to say NO in situations that don't seem right
• Screen all caregivers
• Practice prevention and safety skills: phone use, checking in, restroom awareness and how to locate an adult when help is needed
